CineFlicx (“we”, “the app”) is operated by RabbitQr. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's stored and shared.
There is no CineFlicx account and no CineFlicx server. Your watchlist, your star ratings, your watched history, and your search history are stored on your device and are never uploaded to us. We could not look up what you watch even if asked to.
None of the above leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

These are not linked to your identity — there's no account to link them to. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, health data, financial data, or precise location for analytics.
Search text is deliberately never sent. Before anything is reported, the query is put through a SHA-256 hash and only the first 12 characters of that hash are kept, alongside the character count. That is enough to see that a search was repeated; it cannot be reversed into what you typed.
CineFlicx shows ads through Google AdMob. When you first open the app, iOS asks whether CineFlicx may track you across apps and websites:
You can change your mind at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Your watchlist, ratings, and viewing history are never used for advertising, whichever you choose.
If you grant location access, the app uses your approximate location while you are using it to fetch local weather for weather-based suggestions. Location is sent to the weather provider to get the forecast; it is not stored by us, not used for ads, and not collected in the background. Declining costs you only that one feature.
If you save a poster or still to your photo library, the app asks for add-only permission at that moment. It does not read your existing photos.
If you enable release reminders, a device push token is registered so the reminder can be delivered. It identifies the device, not you.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, and there is no CineFlicx database of users to sell.
Because your library is only ever on your device, a data export or deletion request has nothing on our side to act on — you already hold all of it, and deleting the app destroys it.
CineFlicx is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app surfaces film and TV content that includes mature themes, and its age rating reflects that. An adult-content preference is available in the app and is off by default.
